Stay over night in a former railwaystation

In 2006 we, Gert and Hannah,  bought in the heart of Värmland, by the river Klarälven the former railwaystation of Munkfors. The place of the station is fantastic, it`s opposite the river and 800 meters beside is a big waterfall. A  path on the backside brings you to the old restored part of the village with interesting museums

Munkforsvillage is only 1 km from us and you will find everything you need.

Now a days there`s a cosy apartment realized where it`s nice to stay.

You will find:

A  kitchen with all modern comfort, beside a big diningroom.

 2 sleeping rooms , a big living, 1 shower and 2 toilets (total 6 beds plus childrenbed in 160 m2)

We kept the old charm of the building.  There is a private terrace opposite the river Klarälven. Where in former days the trains found their way, there`s now realized a cyckelpath of 90 km long, so if you want you can step on the bike before the door for a beautifull trip through the nature.

We rent out bicycles for all ages.

There is also a possibility to stay in as B&B . In that case you will find filled up your refrigerator with all you need for a nice breakfast . We use most fresh products from Värmland.
